How can I credit my TelFree account?
You may do an Internet Transfer to TelFree using your 8775 number as a reference. Debit orders facilities are also availabe for qualifying customers. You may also obtain credit from your assigned agent. Your purchase will be credited to your account within 24hrs and includes VAT.
What happens if I lose my TelFree handset?
Simply email customer services with your TelFree 087 number. Note: Your phone account may be disabled to avoid anyone else using your 087 number. Once a new handset is issued to you, your credit balance will be transfered to your new account. customerservices@telfree.co.za
Can I operate my PC and my TelFree desktop phone on the same internet connection?
Yes, simply plug your PC into the PC port of the TelFree phone and then plug your TelFree phone into your broadband Ethernet port. However, note that you will not be able to make simultaneous calls from both devices using the same 087 number.
Can I call emergency services with my 087 number?
You should not rely on any internet phone to contact emergency services, ensure that you have an alternative way of making contact. TelFree 087 numbers will be able to connect to a 112 gateway in the near future.
Can I ensure that my contact details are private?
Absolutely! You may complete the fields you wish using your online client portal. You are also the only person who can veiw your private directory which is secured by your password. For more information see Privacy on the tab below.
